Younghwan Han is a Partner and Head of VIG Alternative Credit.

Prior to re-joining VIG Partners and founding VAC in 2021, Mr. Han spent a decade at Goldman Sachs Asian Special Situations Group (“ASSG”), focusing on special situations and other opportunistic credit investing in Korea. During his tenure at ASSG, Mr. Han deployed more than $1.2bn capital and generated more than $700mm profit without any case of principal loss. Prior to ASSG, Mr. Han began his investing career at VIG Partners as an Associate and prior to that, he worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company.

Mr. Han earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and holds a BBA from Seoul National University.

Seungick Chang is an Associate at VIG Alternative Credit (“VAC”). Mr. Chang joined VAC in 2022.

Mr. Chang earned a B.S. in Real Estate from New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate.

Hongkyun Hwang is a Principal at VIG Alternative Credit (“VAC”)

Prior to joining VIG Partners in 2022, Mr. Hwang spent 7 years at Goldman Sachs Asian Special Situations Group (“ASSG”), focusing on special situations and other opportunistic credit investing in Korea. During his tenure at ASSG, Mr. Hwang deployed more than $800mm and generated more than $600mm profit without any case of principal loss. Prior to ASSG, Mr. Hwang spent two years at Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Division in Korea.

Mr. Hwang earned a BBA from Seoul National University.

Hamin Jung is an Associate at VIG Alternative Credit (“VAC”).

Prior to joining VIG Partners in 2023, Mr. Jung worked as an Associate at Citigroup Investment Banking Division, where he was responsible for M&A and capital markets transactions.

Mr. Jung earned a BBA from Seoul National University.

Seongyeol Yu is a Managing Director at VIG Alternative Credit.

Prior to joining VIG Partners in 2025, Seongyeol spent a decade in Investment Banking Division at Hanwha Investment & Securities. At Hanwha, he advised on and directly invested in various real estate development projects and real assets. As the team head of Tactical Investment, Seongyeol not only managed transactions, but also oversaw all real estate-related investment analyses within the division. Before Hanwha, Seongyeol served as a real estate financing specialist at Cape Investment & Securities.

Mr. Yu holds an MS from Shack Institute of Real Estate at NYU and a BBA from Chung-Ang University.
